Asian Pork Burgers

I can't take all the credit for these burgers, I marinate them and my husband BBQ's them, I don't BBQ anything, that's his job, I do enough. I can't make a good tasting beef burger to save my life but I can do pork burgers.

List of ingredients:
2 lbs ground pork
1 tbsp or fish sauce or oyster sauce
3-4 peeled and minced garlic cloves
1 peeled and minced onion
1-2 tbsp minced lemongrass
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1 egg

The day before you plan to make them you need to marinate them. Add fish sauce or oyster sauce, I usually use oyster but I didn't have any so fish sauce it is, garlic, onion, lemongrass, sugar, pepper and one egg

Then add ground pork and mix with your hands until just mixed, it is a very wet mix but you get juicy burgers.
Cover the bowl over and leave in the fridge over night.

The next day heat up your BBQ and make your patties, I made sliders for the kids and regular patties for us. Grill for about 5 min per side, or until done, it will depend how thick you make your patties.

Ours weren't too thick, make sure they are nice and brown. Here they are all finished, I had 12 sliders and 6 regular burgers out of the 2lbs of meat.
Top them however you would like or as you would any other beef burger.
